Citizens advice Dorset (CAiD) is a consortium of three local Citizens Advice charities in the Dorset council area, which provide free, confidential and impartial advice to help people find a way forward, whatever problems they face.

Its aim is to ensure that the people of Dorset have access to the best possible advice services by promoting the work of Citizens Advice, and by supporting the development and growth of the service.

Citizens Advice Dorset provides free, independent and confidential advice and information. We offer a full range of advice and support including help with:

In 2019/20 the Citizens Advice service in the Dorset Council area helped 17,027 clients deal with 56,700 issues. We helped our clients achieve £8.66million in financial gains. 53% of our clients identified as having a long term health condition or a disability.
